This captivating mural, completed over six days, stands opposite the men's fashion wall at the esteemed Hindustan Group of Institutions' fashion institute in Chennai. It serves as a vibrant tribute to women's fashion, showcasing an array of elements including accessories, dress designs, sketches, and illustrations. The design harmonizes numerous fashion icons with a modern line art finish, strategically placed in the middle bottom section. The use of black adds a neutral yet rich tone, creating a visually striking and engaging piece.
Artistic Approach
To achieve this striking mural, the following steps were meticulously executed:
Design Conceptualization: Detailed sketches outlined the vision, ensuring accurate execution.
Iconography: Icons such as handprints, bags, accessories, hairstyles, and dress designs were carefully selected to represent facets of women's fashion.
Modern Line Art Finish: Strategically placed to balance the numerous fashion icons, adding a contemporary touch.
Detailing: Fine brushes were used to draw detailed human anatomy and fashion sketches, providing realism and educational value.
