Around 4:45pm, in the Paris centre just outside a metro station, I saw her dancing her heart out, like nothing else mattered 💃

There wasn’t a special event, people were just walking by, some looking at her, some ignoring, some even recording.

But she didn’t change a thing♥️

She wasn’t trying to perform. She wasn’t trying to get attention. It just felt like she was completely okay being herself in that moment🫶🏻

And standing there, I caught myself thinking…
when did it become so hard to be that free?

Not because we wanted to. But because at some point we were taught to be aware. To behave. To not stand out too much.

I don’t know anything about her life. But for a few minutes, she made me question mine😑

And if you’ve ever felt like you had to adjust yourself to fit in, you’ll probably understand why this stayed with me.

I didn’t come to Paris for art.
I came to study. To build a career. To figure out what a “successful life” was supposed to look like.

And for a while, I tried to be that person
the plan, the degree, the corporate path.

But every time life got heavy,
I picked up a brush🎨🖌️
Not because anyone told me to,
but because it was the only thing that made me feel like me.

Here’s what no one tells you about having a passion alongside a “real life” 🫠

You start hiding it.
You tell yourself: this is just a hobby.

It doesn’t fit the version of me I’m supposed to show.

So you post the polished version. The safe version.
The one that looks like you have it together.

And people scroll past.
Because they can feel the gap🤥👎🏻

The gap between who you are
and what you’re showing.

I’m not just an artist🙂‍↕️🥂

I’m an Indian woman who moved to Paris to study Fashion & Luxury Management.
Worked full time while painting walls on weekends.
Survived homesickness, language barriers, and reheated dinners - with a paintbrush in hand👩🏻‍🎨♥️

A Tamil girl from India painting windows in Paris.
An AI Art Director who still gets paint under her nails.
Someone who turned a passion that made “no logical sense” into AI campaigns for brands!

But for a long time, I tried to be one thing online—

DAY 6 - Object → Al Campaign

Not just a plant🪴

A goodbye I didn’t expect to feel this much.

We lived in the same space for over a year.
Not everything was big-
just small conversations,
small routines,
a presence.

Until one day, it wasn’t there anymore🙂

This project started from that moment♥️
