The Fashion Frontier
Story
Drawing from the vibrant and diverse world of fashion, this mural encapsulates the core elements of the institute's fashion curriculum. A central theme is the concept of fashion as genderless and inclusive, symbolized by scribbled-out faces to represent the idea that anyone can wear fashion clothing and style.
Located at the entrance of the fashion institute department of the esteemed Hindustan Group of Institutions in Chennai, this exceptionally long wall posed a unique challenge. The goal was to utilize this extensive space effectively to showcase the students' outstanding work while simultaneously conveying the essence of the fashion courses offered by the institute. The mural features a cohesive look with predominantly black art concepts, accentuated by highlights in red, yellow, and green to emphasize key aspects of the courses.
